An offline, voice-based AI educational assistant for rural Peruvian primary schools. A teacher's laptop runs a local FastAPI server with a quantized Llama 3.2 3B model, hybrid Knowledge Graph + vector retrieval, Whisper STT, and Piper TTS — students interact through Flutter tablets over a dedicated Wi-Fi network with no internet required. Teacher-curated weakness profiles are injected into LLM prompts for personalized tutoring. Built as a thesis evaluating whether KG-RAG quality survives compression to edge hardware.
